Set in late 1992,[8] the game revolves around the main character, Carl "CJ" Johnson returning home from Liberty City to Los Santos after learning of his mother's murder. CJ finds his family and his old gang, the Grove Street Families, in disarray. Over the course of the game, CJ gradually unravels the plot behind his mother's murder while reestablishing his gang and exploring his own business ventures.
This is the PC version, NOT PS2
System Requirements:
* 1 GHz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon CPU
* 256 MB RAM
* 8x DVD drive
* 3.6 GB hard disk space
* 64 MB DirectX 9.0-compatible graphics card
* DirectX 9.0-compatible sound card
* Windows 2000/XP/Vista
IMPORTANT NOTE: I have noticed that with the PC version, and because the PC can render it at MUCH higher than the PS2's ~25 Frames Per Second, there is an option for "Frame Limiter" to be enabled/disabled. I run with this DISABLED because I can't stand such a low FPS, which is why I'm playing it on PC instead of PS2. HOWEVER, for SOME REASON this affects a couple aspects of gameplay. So far, all I've experienced in difference is you CAN NOT SWIM worth a damn with the FRAME LIMITER DISABLED, so when you do Woozie's mission, or when you want to swim, you MUST ENABLE the FRAME LIMITER.
Other than that, its MUCH better on PC. Aiming is so easy, I didn't have any trouble doing the Ammu-Nation missions [the shooting galleries].
